"Synergistic"? The dictionary defines it as the total being equal to more than the sum of its parts, sort of "two plus two equals five". We named the company Synergistic Press when it was founded because we can think of no better example of this than publishing:
A published book is more than just the sum of an author's manuscript and the raw materials of paper, ink and binding material. A book in the hand of a reader is more than an unread book on a shelf and a reader without a book in his or her hand.
So we invite you to browse our catalog here. Of course we're biased but we think you will find titles that will appeal to you. If you do you can, of course, buy them right here on-line by following the ordering instructions. Or you can print out an order form and send it to us by fax or mail. Or, if--like us--you enjoy bookstores and browsing among actual books, you can visit your favorite bookseller and ask for our titles there. If they don't have one you want you can (1) ask to have it special ordered or (2) say you'll order it on-line but they should stock it so the next customer won't be disappointed.
